Info: Rich, a native of the island and son of co-owner Don Lord, has been a broker for Shepard's for over 25 years. He joined the family business both because of his desire to work closely with his father, as well as his desire to meet lots of good people.
Rich enjoys working with people to find them a truly unique property that fits their needs and desires. Rich's strong ability to work well with people can be shown in his years of service to the community including volunteering for the Chamber of Commerce, being on the founding board of the Island Community Center, 15 years as caretaker of the miniature village (which can be seen in downtown Stonington during the summer months) and 15 years as little league baseball coach.
Rich is the proud father of three children: Jordan (age 13), Logan (age 7) and Megynn (age 5). Rich enjoys spending his spare time with his family and being active in their sports.
